welcome text

Welcome to our website – we hope you find it helpful. We work really hard to help give children the best possible start to life and place great emphasis on the development of independence and confidence. Being part of a school ourselves, we have a good understanding of how to get children ready for whichever school they may later attend. If you would like more information, or to look around Nursery when children are in, please feel free to contact us.

curriculum text

We believe that children learn best through structured play. We set up our spaces to give children access to some really exciting resources and learning opportunities which build on their natural curiosity. Each child is treated as an individual and the staff are keen to work together with parents in order to best support their development. Activities are carefully planned to promote independence and develop the skills and knowledge that will get children off to a really good start in school. Much of this learning takes place in our outdoor space. Children experience a mix of free play, one to one, group work and whole class learning, usually based around a theme (e.g. Celebrations, Around the World). Learning early reading skills, phonics (letters and sounds) and number are all high profile in Nursery but these are always done in a 'hands on' and fun way.
